Firefly Cottage is a recently renovated and furnished 3 bedroom semi-detached double brick cottage, built mostly in about 1870, situated right in the middle of Mudgee, just a short stroll to shops, hotels, restaurants, clubs, gyms, parks etc. This quirky cottage has been tastefully decorated and is very comfortable. Sleeping up to 8 adults, it is suitable for anything form a romantic weekend away to a family gathering. The lounge has a 2 seat sofa as well as a 3 seat fold-out sofa-bed ( use available on request at extra charge) an LCD TV, DVD player and DVD library, T-Box with a collection of movies, a variety of books and magazines, reverse cycle air-conditioning and Wi-Fi. The kitchen is well equipped, including stove, fridge, microwave, a Pod coffee machine, toaster and kettle. Crockery, cutlery and glassware, pots and pans. Also included are milk, bikkies, sugar, tea and coffee pods. The dining table seats 6. Bedroom One is bright and comfortable. It has a Queen bed, a wardrobe and a fan or heater. Bedroom Two is spacious and quiet. Containing a Queen bed, a wardrobe, chair and r/c aircon unit. Portacot available on request + $25. Bedroom Three has 2 comfortable King Single beds, a dressing table and fan or heater. The Bathroom including toilet is neat and modern and comes with Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Wash and a hairdryer. Family sized off-peak hot water. Towels and bed linen (Fitted bottom sheet, quilt cover and pillow cases only, No separate flat top sheet) are provided. . Electric Blankets in winter. If you feel compelled to do a load of washing, the Laundry has a Washing Machine, Dryer, Ironing Board, Iron, Laundry Powder, Basket and pegs. Just outside is the traditional rotary clothesline. The private backyard has a deck, an outdoor setting, BBQ and plenty of room for the kids. Pet friendly on written request. The large backyard is suitable for dogs of all sizes but if you have a cat or need your furry friend to be in the house with you, we need to charge a fee of $50 for the extra cleaning required.(This does not cover any damage.) Standard Terms and Conditions of Temporary Holiday Accommodation Note: Variances can be agreed on but only by arrangement with the owner in writing. Payment of the rental constitutes the clients acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Cancellation refunds as per standard policy. The owners will make every effort to ensure the property is available as booked. However the owners reserve the right to make alterations to bookings due to unforeseen circumstances. To maintain a good standard for our guests we require certain conditions to be complied with. We appreciate most will respect our property but the occasional abuse requires that we state the following conditions. Number of Guests should not exceed the number stated on the Confirmation Notice or subsequently agreed in writing or email. FEES WILL APPLY for excess guests not agreed with the owners in advance form the full booking period. PLEASE DO NOT REARRANGE THE FURNITURE. This WILL result in charges as extra staff are required to replace large items. Parties and Functions are strictly prohibited. The price charged is for domestic use only and not commercial. Accordingly this rate does not allow for the extra wear associated with functions in terms of cleaning, garbage removal, wear and tear, repairs etc. Use contrary to this may result in additional payments. NO FIRE PITS! NO PORTABLE POOLS! NO BIKES IN THE HOUSE, neither cycle or motor! ( Yes, apparently we have to say this!) Bringing bikes INSIDE the premises WILL cause loss of bond. Damage, Breakages, Theft and Loss are the tenants responsibility during their stay. Please report any breakages or damage before departure. Problems or Complaints- In the event of there being any problems or deficiencies with the accommodation or contents the matter should be reported immediately. Prompt notification by the tenant is required to enable remedial action to be taken. No complaints will be accepted or correspondence entered into where complaints are made at the end of a tenancy. ARRIVAL - NOT BEFORE 2PM unless by prior arrangement! Departure - the property should be left in a similar state to its condition on arrival, otherwise, excess cleaning fees apply. Check-out time is BEFORE 10AM, to allow time to prepare property for next guests. Late check out fees WILL apply at $25/half hour to cover staff waiting time Disturbance to our neighbours, including excessive noise, is prohibited and may result in termination of rental. Towels and Linen are supplied. No separate flat top sheet. Free Wi-Fi. Pets are allowed when specific arrangements have been made in writing with the owner and a $50 extra cleaning fee is paid for indoor pets. NO PETS ALLOWED ON FURNITURE! Loss - the owners take no responsibility for the tenant's personal property. Available by phone or text if needed. External security camera located on front of building.
