Black Estate Winery B & B

A beautiful studio B & B at Black Estate's organic vineyard. Located on the ground floor of an architecturally designed building which also houses a lunch time restaurant featuring local and organic produce (closed Tuesday and Wednesdays). Consistently awarded two Hats by Cuisine Good Food Awards. The views are vast, expanding from the Home vineyard to the majestic Southern Alps. Complimentary light breakfast provisions are supplied and a takeaway meal can be ordered on the day you arrive. The space Outrageously beautiful North Canterbury views, well-designed furniture, premium linens, Bluetooth stereo and mini bar ensure your stay is a fine one. The guesthouse is tucked away from diners and the garden is for your own use & privacy. This is a working organic vineyard so expect to see friendly staff and tractors occasionally. The cellar door & restaurant close each day at 5pm. There is a convection oven and kettle in the room, but not a full kitchenette. The ensuite is fitted with a shower and Sans beauty products. You have the place & sunset to yourselves each night. The property is located at the head of the regional vineyard bike trail and the B&B comes with complementary bikes. Guests can enjoy a number of activities in the surroundings including cycling, fishing, hiking, surfing, and winery tours. Guest access You have the guesthouse and garden to yourselves with separate access. You are welcome to walk the vineyard, neighbouring Waipara Vineyard Trail and hike the hill behind us. You are also welcome in the cellar door & restaurant for tastings & lunch and for questions or a chat any time. There is a mini-bar provided and we will ask for your credit card details when you arrive so that we can charge for any items used. If you arrive after 5pm, let us know so we can give you check-in information! Other things to note We purposefully don't have a TV... but there is wifi if you wish to watch anything with your own devices and play music using the quality Cambridge speaker. Use of items in our mini bar can be charged to your card. We're happy to accommodate dietary requirements.
