Welcome to Sunshine & WhiskSea, your perfect, family-friendly Port A getaway in a 22-unit community on the beach side of 11th St! Steps off your front door is a sparkling pool & hot tub. A 10 minute stroll (no roads to cross!) takes you right to the beach. Gather friends & family in your spacious inside/outside living space, with a large balcony flowing right into the fully-equipped kitchen & family room. 3 bedrooms (5 comfy beds + new sofa bed) & 2.5 baths gives everyone room to spread out. The space HIGHLIGHTS Enjoy the large private balcony with Adirondack chairs, fully-stocked kitchen, board games, beach toys, large capacity washer/dryer, more! Relax at the sparkling pool and hot tub with plenty of chairs & shade just steps from the front door! Then walk 2 minutes down the road and grab a slice of pizza or a snow-cone from Jackfish (our kids' favorite on a hot afternoon). Sunshine & WhiskSea offers 3 stories for our guests to enjoy, with private sleeping areas on the 1st and 3rd leaving the 2nd the perfect indoor/outdoor gathering and dining space. No neighbors above or below you! First Floor This area has the entryway and front door/garage door access. This first floor also houses the primary bedroom with ensuite bath for maximum privacy. The primary bedroom includes a King bed with Tempur-pedic mattress, a large walk-in closet with plenty of luggage space, as well as a 43” smart TV. The ensuite bathroom has a spacious vanity with double sinks and ample counter space, as well as a large garden tub with shower, perfect for winding down with a glass of wine at the end of the day. Second Floor Perfect for gathering friends and family together. The highlight of this area is the large private balcony complete with amazingly comfortable new Adirondack chairs and tables. In the evenings, you can listen to the waves and watch the sunset. The large living room has ample seating from the brand new sofa, loveseat, armchair set (full-sized sofa folds out into a Queen-sized bed), perfect for watching a movie on the 65 inch Samsung Smart TV or some friendly competition on the XBox with included Game Pass! This space is ideal for playing one of the provided board or card games, or just relaxing after a day at the beach. The open concept space flows right into the dining room, with seating for 10 and a fully-stocked full-sized kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a large pantry/laundry room adjoining with washer & dryer. A modern half-bath is located conveniently off the living area. Third Floor You will find 2 large bedrooms with an adjoining Jack & Jill style bathroom w/ 2 sinks and a separate toilet & bathtub/shower room. The first bedroom includes full-sized bunk beds, a twin trundle bed with brand new mattress, and a pack and play in the large closet for the littles. The second bedroom has a queen bed and large, French door style windows. Both upstairs bedrooms are also equipped with Smart TVs. Beach Equipment When you are ready for the beach, check out the on the shelf in the garage and find a plethora of beach gear available to use. When you come back at the end of the day, just rinse off with the convenient hose right on the front steps! Bringing the Family? We have everything you need for everyone, including a Pack N Play, high chair, beach toys, baby gate, board games, children’s utensils & more! As a mom myself, I tried to include everything I always love having when we rent a space. Pets In general, we do not allow pets. Please reach out for possible exceptions. It's The Little Things Our amenities include ample towels for each guest, fresh Hotel Collection linens, shampoo, conditioner, soap, laundry & dishwasher detergent, plenty of paper towels and toilet paper, beach/pool towels, garbage bags, Keurig with a variety of pods, sweeteners, and creamers, basic spices and oils, & more. We can't wait to host you! Guest access The entire space is available for use, including the single-car garage. There is one locked owners closet on the main floor and a locked deck box in garage. Other things to note Things to note: 1. We have no control over the water temperature of the pool and hot tub in the complex. 2. Checkout time during summer high season (Memorial Day to Labor Day) and holidays (Thanksgiving week, Christmas week) is 10:00 a.m. All other dates have an 11:00 a.m. checkout time. 3. Please be aware that on the 3rd Monday of each month, pest control will come to the condo and spray indoors. This is mandated by the HOA and is out of our control. We appreciate your understanding. 4. This is the Gulf! While it’s rare, it isn’t unexpected to get tropical storms, hurricanes, and periods of extended rainfall. AirBnB will not give you a full refund unless the circumstances are unexpected, and these events ARE expected. We STRONGLY ENCOURAGE you to get travel insurance! We will not grant any cancellations outside our official policy. 5. Internet can be unreliable on the island at times. We have no control over any outages or slow speeds, and will not be able to offer any compensation for this inconvenience. Max Adult occupancy is 10 and regulated by City of Port Aransas ordinance.
