Set all on one level, enjoy beautiful open plan living with a stunning fully-equipped midnight blue kitchen and relaxing dining space combined with a stylish and comfortable seating area. Nestle into our deep velvet sofa, or recline in our elegant linen armchairs whilst perusing a magazine or settling down to watch a film. On warm summer evenings, throw open the door and relax with a glass of wine looking out across some of the most breath-taking views Warwickshire has to offer. Nestled above the historic 16th century hamlet of Walton in Warwickshire just a stone's throw from Stratford on Avon, The Shooting Lodge is one of three barn conversions at Mount Pleasant Barns. The Shooting Lodge is the first to be converted and currently the only holiday barn available to rent. All the barns were traditionally part of the working farm that was Mount Pleasant Farm, part of the private estate upon which it still sits. Surrounded by glorious Warwickshire countryside, the property boasts some of the very best views this county has to offer. Just a short 5 minute stroll from the barns is Walton Hall with magnificent grounds, including a wonderful boating lake and ideal for walks. Tranquillity is the key to our wonderful location, yet just on the doorstep there are so many things to see and do with historic Warwick and Shakespeare's Stratford upon Avon very close by. We are also right on the edge of the Cotswolds making this the perfect central location to do all this and more. Mount Pleasant barns are set well away from the road up a long private drive. When you arrive, there is plenty of free and safe parking on site next to the barns. Other things to note: We have been taking bookings privately for over a year and have a host of top-rated reviews online and in our guest books – some of the reviews are shown in the photos. We live on site and are always at hand to help in any way we can to make your stay special! We also have 2 sister barns in the same location. We provide all the little touches, from tea and ground coffee to luxury botanical toiletries, and robes and spa towels for your hot tub! Luxuriate in your own wood-fired hot tub overlooking some of the most amazing views that Warwickshire has to offer. Depending on changeover availability, we may be able to offer you an early check-in and/or a late check-out. Early check-in is 1pm (as opposed to 4pm) and a late check out of 1.00pm (as opposed to 10am). This incurs a small surcharge of £30 for each change which covers the additional costs charged to us by our housekeeping services for changes to their standard schedule.
