Other things to note **STOWE ACCESS IN WINTER It takes about an hour to drive to Stowe in the winter as Smugglers’ Notch Scenic Highway closes during this time, meaning you have to drive around the mountain. Check VTDOT for road closures from November through March. **RESORT DAYCATION PASS You can purchase a daycation pass to access even more seasonal amenities at Smugglers’ Notch Resort. In summer, the pass is good for 8 swimming pools, 4 water slides, 2 swimming reservoirs, a FunZone complex, daily kids’ activities, mini and disc golf, 2 mountain bike parks and more. In winter, it covers ice skating, bonfire gatherings, snowshoe and cross-country trails, snow tubing, an indoor pool, winter activities and more. There are also daycation passes for spring and fall.
