Present and Positive is a peaceful and airy retreat space nestled in the outskirts of the mountain community of Idyllwild. With soaring views and spacious, mindfully-designed interiors it is an ideal location for spiritual practice and artistic endeavor. A small group of locals have stewarded the property for years, preparing it for the broader SoCal community at the appropriate time. We are proud to finally offer this incredible space to serve you and your group's highest interests. The property includes a 30' diameter circular space designed for large groups to meet and practice. The 2 BR / 2 BA main house is perched among the treetops and is surrounded by decks and porches to take in the beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and forest. There are additional intimate spaces on the property for your enjoyment; for example, a garden enclosure, greenhouse, mini-cabin and workshop are all evidence of the lively activities that happen here. All areas are normally accessible. Occasionally the smaller bedroom might be occupied by the host. The property has a loop driveway that can accommodate four or five cars as well as a secondary driveway with a small parking area for an additional three to five cars. A total of ten cars can fit on the property and off the street. The host will provide a short tour and a copy of the house manual on the day of check-in. Afterwards the host is always available by message or phone. Please expect a rental agreement to review and sign shortly before your stay. After booking please keep the host appraised of any changes in your reservation, such as change in schedule or number of guests. Beautiful views, peace and quiet. 1. Guests after 9 people will incur a $20 per person per night fee. 2. We encourage the use of sleeping bags for the practice floor mattresses. 3. Mid week (Monday evening to Thursday evening) there is a regular schedule of public Yoga and Movement classes in which guests may participate for a modest fee. 4. Private yoga classes and vegetarian catering are available for an extra fee upon request 5. The entire property is designated a drug, alcohol and tobacco free zone. We are a vegetarian and cruelty-free community as well.
