The hostel is located within the Ciénaga de Zapata National Park, a swampy ecosystem. It is the largest wetland in the Caribbean islands, approved by UNESCO as a Biosphere Reserve and also declared a Ramsar Site. ​ As a whole, the vegetation of the Zapata Swamp constitutes one of the most important green areas in Cuba and, due to the species of flora and fauna it hosts, represents a place of global interest. Guest access Guests have access to the entire house, which can be shared with other guests. Other things to note The rooms are not suitable for children under 15 years of age. Mosquito protection must be brought. We prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner, if you wish. Hosts can arrange excursions to the National Park, Diving, plus the area has an extensive pristine beach area, which you can explore on foot. For your complete enjoyment, we manage collective taxis that will take you safely to your next destination. Check-out is at 10:00 am.
