Rhoda House PEC

Rhoda House is a lovingly restored mid 1800's farmhouse in West Lake. At the doorstep of Sandbanks Provincial Park, West Lake steps from the bottom of the property, and just a few short minutes south of Bloomfield. A mix of restored historic details, vintage and modern design, with lots of rustic charm. Part farmhouse and part beach house, Rhoda is perfect for breezy beach days or cozy cool nights. The space Rhoda house is a lovingly restored mid 1800's farmhouse. Great for families, friends, and couples. Big enough for a fun group, but cozy enough for one or two. Much of the furniture, details and work has been hand done by us, like - uncovered vintage wallpaper and tables or benches of repurposed wood from our very own barn. Great as a county base; head out on foot to local West Lake treasures like the beach at the foot of the property, Sand and Pearl, Isaiah Tubbs or Maccools Reuse - or beyond by car or bike to wineries, breweries, fantastic restaurants, antiquing, hikes and tons of county events. Walking and Biking distance Sandbanks Provincial Park, which is a 3 minute drive. Hayloft Dancehall shuttle pickup right outside the door! Guests will have access to; A spacious house and property with plenty of space for spreading out. The covered porch and outer deck are great for reading, lazing and card games. You'll find a fire pit, a Weber bbq, and lots of green space and nature around the house. A full kitchen with gas stove, cookware, bone china, and glassware for a crowd. Fresh linens and towels will be provided. Games, puzzles, blankets, bocce ball, picnic baskets, tennis rackets (there's a court very nearby at Isaiah Tubbs) and more! All are encouraged to make themselves at home. Our poor old barn is next up on the list for re-imagining! Guest access Guests will have full access to the home and property and all they have to offer.
