It is ideally located right in the heart of The New Forest, just a short stroll from the centre of Burley, a charming village with tea rooms, pubs, cycle hire, quaint gift shops and a fabulous ice cream parlour. Roaming ponies and cattle, Donkeys and (during pannage) pigs can be found casually wandering through Burley. The unspoilt forest and heathland with an abundance of wildlife makes the New Forest a must visit destination. For miles of beautiful walks, head into the forest right from the cottage or alternatively the surrounding area can be explored by car or on bicycle via the many cycle paths, where you can discover some of the charming villages, towns, and attractions the New Forest has to offer. The stunning coastline with sandy beaches at Bournemouth, Sandbanks and Mudeford Spit are all just a short drive away and offers plenty of water based activities such as windsurfing, boating and swimming and paddleboarding.
