Old Florida Charm

This large, 1925 classic old Florida home in lovely Eustis will hold your vacation memories. It's clean and comfortable, with updated bathrooms, all new windows. Be aware that there are level changes and sloped floors on the now- enclosed porches. It has four big bedrooms, two baths, and several extra rooms. There's a speakeasy! Plus a big yard with a fenced 8 foot deep pool. There's a separate cottage on the 1/2 acre property. It's a small short term rental. The space There are four bedrooms upstairs, and one double vanity sink, plus a shower bathroom. There's a full bed on the back porch, but it's not made up for guests; you have to let us know and there is an extra charge of $35. IF YOU HAVE MOBILITY ISSUES that make level changes, flagstones, or stairs uncomfortable, this is not the house for you. ALL THE BEDROOMS ARE UPSTAIRS. There is a ramp entrance for wheelchair guests to the bottom floor, but it is not ADA.There are minor level changes in the house due to 100 years of add-ons....two of the upstairs bedroom have a step down to them. I raised the living room floor to install real oak, so there's a sloped threshold to the dining room. However, a person with some disabilities could comfortably stay on the ground floor, with the ramped porch and two spaces to sleep on the ground floor. There is no level change larger than a step. There is a tub/shower on that floor, it's not ADA. The cottage is a small rental. My son Joe who is a police officer for Umatilla (the next town to the north) lives 1/2 mile away. Guest access The entire 2,300 square foot house, the pool, and the front and side yards are yours to enjoy. The onsite cottage is in the far corner of the half acre lot, but it won't intersect with your private use of the house pool and yard. Other things to note Please be respectful neighbors. This is not a party house, and we have neighbors who will be protective of our lovely quiet neighborhood. We charge a fee after 6 guests, please be honest. It's more work for our cleaner, who gets the extra. If you have a mobility issue that make level changes, flagstones, or stairs uncomfortable, this is not the house for you.
