Casa Oliveira - Vila Lobo

Vila Lobo is an authentic 19th century Algarvian farmhouse with buildings dating back to before 1853! We have restored, preserved and maintained all the architectural features to bring a real countryside stay experience, with a privileged location in the national ecological reserve (REN) and amidst the characteristic nature of the region. We have chosen to live in this paradise and created a space to welcome people, with comfort, modernity and, above all, a very peaceful environment. The space We have private houses, with: bedroom, fully equipped kitchen and private bathroom. A decor that blends the rustic and contemporary, 55" 4k TVs, Starlink high speed internet (300MBPs), amenities, Nespresso coffee maker, hair dryer, towel dryer and hot/cold air conditioning. The houses have a queen size double bed and a sofa bed that can accommodate children/teenagers well. High quality linen and towels complete the comfortable and cosy atmosphere. All houses have a work space with high speed internet. Guest access Outside, enjoy moments at the table, enjoying the hot summer days outdoors or the sky full of stars in winter. Relax in the shared spaces, with: barbecues, sofas and hammocks. The gardens are pleasant spaces to spend the day or rest after walks, listening to the sound of birds, reading a good book, enjoying a good wine or a house cocktail. Other things to note Location and surroundings: In the surrounding area guests can go hiking and bike riding (which we provide free of charge), enjoy the beautiful views of the area and even reach some of the nearest restaurants by walking. Although in the countryside, we are located only 15 minutes from Faro airport, 15 minutes from Faro, 10 minutes from Loulé, 10 minutes from São Brás do Alportel and 20 minutes from many of the Algarve's paradisiacal beaches and various tourist attractions. There is a wide variety of gastronomic options just minutes away, local markets, supermarkets and two shopping malls. Please note: our location requires the use of a vehicle. Public transport in the Algarve is not frequent. Concierge: We have developed a comprehensive guide, in which we present many suggestions for beaches, restaurants and tourist attractions. In the high summer season reservations at the main restaurants are very busy! We have developed some partnerships and can make reservations for our guests for free and in advance (terms and conditions on request after confirmation of accommodation). There is a laundry room that can be used by appointment. Sustainability: Environmental issues are on the agenda at Vila Lobo, we ask you to pay close attention to the items below: a. Our shower and sink water is treated and recycled for reuse, our detergents are biological and therefore we ask you to avoid as much as possible the disposal of oils and fats in the kitchen sinks and bathrooms; b. Our sewage is treated locally, we ask that you do not throw papers into the toilets; c. We recycle all our rubbish! We ask that all rubbish is disposed of in the bins located at the entrance to the house and that, they are, properly separated before disposal: paper, plastics and metals, glass and organics/other; d. We have a local solar energy production plant, however, we ask you to pay attention to the use of electricity and especially not to keep air-conditioning appliances on when people are not present in the rooms. Other things to take into account Vila Lobo brings back time with the bucolic landscape of ruins from the last century. Although it is not forbidden, the presence of small children requires permanent parental attention. It will be a great pleasure to welcome you in our Vila Lobo!
