The space The Head Gardener's Cottage is a beautiful cottage which is set within 150 acres of unspoilt landscape on the Broxmouth Park Estate in Dunbar, East Lothian. Dunbar is a lovely town situated on the East Lothian coast. It boasts some wonderful beaches on its doorstep; Belhaven Bay and White Sands and many more in the near vicinity including Yellowcraig, Tyninghame, North Berwick and Pease Bay. All within a 20 minute drive, so whether you feel like surfing or just relaxing there are plenty of options. East Lothian is also a golfer's paradise offering 22 courses for all levels of golfers with many being Championship courses. Muirfield which is world renowned and host to the British Open is only 20 minutes' drive. The estate also backs onto the Dunbar Golf Club which is an Open qualifying venue and is viewed as one of the best links courses in Scotland.Dunbar is a great place for families to visit and offers a wealth of activities. There is the East Links Family Fun Park which has animals for the children to feed, train rides and an amazing fort for them to play on. We also have Fox Lake on our doorstep which offers lots of different activities like wakeboarding and rope courses just to mention a few. Dunbar has its own indoor swimming pool with an incredible wave machine - children just love it! Boat trips can also be arranged from Dunbar harbour. Belhaven is also a great surfing beach and through Coast to Coast you are able to hire all the kit. We are only a few minutes' drive to the Museum of Flight where you are able to take a tour on a Concorde as well as seeing many historic and modern aircrafts. The Scottish Seabird Centre at North Berwick is also well worth a visit. If it is culture that you are looking for, Dunbar is only 30 minutes by car (20 minutes by train) from Edinburgh which is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. In July and August Edinburgh is completely buzzing as it hosts the International Festival, Festival Fringe and Military Tattoo.
