We have our own fern & punga lined bush walk track down into the valley below ,where we have a snow fed river that is just 300 metres from the Lodge. This is an outstanding unspoiled, pristine and beautiful on site must see attraction. . There is a picnic table right at the waters edge so pack a lunch to take with you and enjoy . The property itself is located on SH4 only 6 mins to park and ride at the National Park --park and ride connections to the Tongaririo Crossing traverse crossing. And to the ski fields in season . There is also a well stocked Four Square store and plenty of Cafes and Restaurants. Whakapapa ski Field is but 18 Minutes drive away Handy to all else that is going on in the area, plenty of out door adventures activities are on offer, walking tracks, rafting at Owhanga , cycle trails. quad bike adventures and all of the great out doors right at your door step. Guest access The lodge has easy drive to the door access and plenty of free parking..The lodge is larger than average and when you are a guest at Tekoa Lodge you will have exclusive access to all areas of the the lodge. It is well fenced and private .It is well set up with open plan living and is spacious so there is heaps of room even for larger groups of people with an extra large lounge area that is well set up for all to relax in. The large living lounge area is an outstanding feature of this place . It also has a recently added large deck area (Dec 2020) that gives a new dimension to the lifestyle of living at the Lodge, now with a really nice indoor / outdoor flow from the main living area. There is also large lawn & garden areas around the Lodge to enjoy .It is set in on a grassy garden area also surrounded with Pungas and ferns The property is well set up and has two bathrooms, two showers, one has wet floor walk in no step access , and also has three toilets .It has an unlimited hot water supply via the LPG water heating system. It has a well set up laundry and drying room for wet ski gear. We have our own fern and punga lined bush walking track on the property that goes down from the Lodge to the beautiful, pristine , unspoiled snow fed river just 300 metres below in the valley . Other things to note Note the property is quite large (3.5Ha) and almost totally covered in native bush apart from the access driveway hence you will have a high level of privacy and peacefulness.We have our own bush walk track on the property to the unspoiled snow fed river just 300 metres below the Lodge.
