The “Lagoon House” or Córrego da Ladeira is a vibrant green paradise, it is the last house with electricity on that dirt road. The lagoon provides refreshing baths and all rooms overlook the garden, allowing a special experience with nature - the silence, bugs and the starry skies are all part of it. We are supporters of local traditions so we kept the original architecture of the house, enriching the space with eclectic furniture! You are 20m from Zambujeira. The space Montes da Ronha are rustic houses, for those who like to be in the countryside and enjoy its particularities. It is an isolated area, with a limited cell phone network, which implies the need for a more careful organization of the trip, but for that, here we are. Here you can do great walks, cookings, you can read read, write and draw. About the House: In front of the house we have a porch that allows you to relax in the shade, with a view of the garden and the lagoon. The house has 3 bedrooms, all rooms having independent access to the porch. The bathroom has a shower and the living room is open to the kitchen. There are fireplaces in the living room and for two of the bedrooms. Firewood is paid for by the guest but we can arrange delivery. The garden is perfect for exploring, there are trees of various species and corners with different views. The main features of the Alentejo architectural style have been maintained throughout the house, which means that the doors are low and the walls are thick. The porch floor and the bathroom walls recover the tradition of using local stone. Guest access Guests have access to all the house and property.
