Your days will revolve around the gorgeous, sparkling tiled pool that wraps around the expansive terrace. Enjoy meals at the outdoor dining table where you can hear the ocean and smell the salt spray. Large eaves and an overhead fan ensure your comfort, rain or shine. Large sliding glass doors connect the terrace to the modern kitchen, so the chef is never left out of the conversation or the stunning views. The villa also features a large living room and dining area downstairs, surrounded by native plants, palm trees, and towering 100-foot primary forest trees. Guest Access You will have exclusive access to this complete, standalone home. While the driveway is shared with two other homes on the property, your privacy is assured with your own garage, grill, private pool, and a direct path to the beach. The villas are thoughtfully landscaped to create a secluded feel. The Neighborhood Villa Central is just a 5-minute drive from the quiet surf town of Dominical, known for its great restau- rants and convenient stores. When the tide is out, it’s a gorgeous 20-minute stroll along the beach to town. Famous for its fantastic surfing, Dominical also boasts a broad beach that extends nearly 100 yards at low tide. You can easily walk to breakfast or grab a drink at sunset without ever needing to get in your car. Getting Around The villa is located about 3 hours from Juan Santamaria International Airport (SJO) in Alajuela. Renting a car is easy, and you won’t need a 4-wheel drive vehicle to get here. All roads leading to the property are paved, making the drive straightforward and manageable for any rental car. Important Information On-Ste Staff: A lovely local couple lives on the property. They provide light housekeeping services and keep the pools and gardens in pristine condition, ensuring a relaxing and well-maintained environment for your stay. Larger Groups: Villa Central is one of three identical villas on the property. For larger groups, family reunions, or events of up to 25 people, please inquire about the possibility of renting two or all three villas together. Ecotourism & Activities: Costa Rica is the heart of ecotourism, and the villa is centrally located for exploration. Our property manager’s concierge service can connect you with incredible local excursions. including: •Whale Watching •ATV to the Waterfalls. • Sport Fishing • Horsebackriding to waterfalls. • Ziplining. • Birdwatching safaris • Mangrove kayak tours. • Riverrafting. It's the perfect way to experience this amazing country. Guest access This is a complete, standalone home. While the driveway is shared with two other homes, it is has its own garage, grill, pool, and path to the beach. The homes are reasonably close together but have landscaping for privacy. Other things to note This area (and the entire country) is known for eco-tourism. We've been on many excursions and we've loved them all. Whitewater rafting, horseback riding, ziplines, etc. Half-days run around $45 and full days run around $100. We find that spending a day at the villa, followed by a day of exploration and excursions, is a nice way to find out more about this terrific country and its people. From the Osa Peninsula, to Manuel Antonio National Park, to local waterfalls and tropical hikes, there's a lot to do and it's all eco-friendly.
