We are close to the airport, Fort-de-France, and major roads, making it convenient for arriving, departing, and touring during your stay, while in a quiet environment outside the city. After more than one year of renovations, we will welcome you with greater comfort and independence than before. You will share the house with us and you will be able to cook or order some meals from Thawit, a Thai chef (for an additional fee, except for the first continenal breakfast which is complimentary). The space . The house has a large terrace (sheltered from the rain and from the sun) exposed to the setting sun to live outsite, a large deck for sunbathing and an area shaded by the trees and a shade sail if you prefer to lie down in the shade. The pool is big enough (9 m long) for swimming and features different spaces to vary the pleasures: wide steps and a shallow end so that children can play at any age, a deeper part (1.80 m deep) to dive, a bench with massage nozzles, a powerful cascade to massage your back and shoulders, stationary swimming belts (attached to an elastic band) to swim without having to worry about U-turns, an aquabike to exercise in the water... It is treated with salt to be gentle to your skin and your eyes. We heat it during the cool season to keep the water at approx. 29 °Celsius (= 84 °Fahrenheit) and it's nice to stay in for hours without getting cold, the only problem with children is that they don't want to come out! Other fun activities include an outdoor badminton court (with raquets of various sizes for adults and children) and darts (with metal tips for adults or plastic tips and a different dartboard for children). Thawit is a Thai chef, he can cook for you and even give you cooking classes. If you want to have dinner with us the evening of your arrival to taste Thai gastronomy, the complete meal is 24 euros per person (half price for children up to at 10 years old, free for babies up to 3 years old), you just have to tell me a little in advance specifying if there are things that you would like to eat or on the contrary that you do not eat (and if children, if any, need a special menu). During your stay we can also offer simpler meals at half price (12 euros per person, half price for children, free for babies). If you want special dishes or cooking classes, do not hesitate to contact me for organization and price. If you prefer to prepare your own meals, you have your own fully equipped kitchen outside on the terrace. Your first breakfast is complimentary so you don't have to rush for grocery shopping upon arrival. You will have access to the Internet via Wi-Fi (high-speed optical fiber). Guest access The upper floor is all yours: you have one or two bedrooms (depending on the number of guests), and a bathroom (toilet, shower, and sink) located between the two bedrooms. The double beds can be separated into two twin beds, so we can make up to 2 double beds and up to 5 single beds, please specify your preference when booking. The outdoor kitchen is reserved for your use and is fully equipped (refrigerator, gas cooker, microwave, etc.) so you can be self-sufficient. However, we can also lend you utensils from our kitchen that we might not have thought to make available in the outdoor kitchen. If you do not want to go back upstairs to use the toilet, or if there are many of you who want to use the bathroom at the same time or for the pleasure of showering outdoors, we also provide an additional toilet and shower on the ground floor (the additional shower is located outside, on the side of the house, out of sight, facing the vegetation: it is very pleasant to shower outdoors in the tropics!). If you wish to stay a little longer at our place (before check-in time or after check-out time) or if you wish to invite additional guests (during the day or to spend the night), don't hesitate to tell us as soon as possible so that we can tell you if it would be possible (and if there would be an extra payment). During your stay . We both speak english and we will share the house with you. We will be happy to chat with you, give advice about leisure and sightseing and to help if you need something. Other things to note . Your accommodation (bedrooms and adjoining bathroom) is located upstairs, so it is not recommended to stay with us if you have difficulty going up and down stairs (if it is only to carry luggage, we will help you). We have three cats who live mainly outside the house and do not go into the bedrooms, but it's best not to be allergic.
