107 & 109 Nunnery Lane is by York’s city walls. It combines 2 pet friendly town houses that have a pool table, cinema and games room. It's perfect for 10 people - 11th & 12th person incurs additional nightly cost of 30 per person per stay. We do not accept stag or hen parties that want to use the house for parties, but will consider quieter stag or hen groups that want to just stay at the house and will treat both the house and our neighbours (its a quiet family neighbourhood) with respect. The space 107 & 109 Nunnery Lane combines 2 pet friendly town houses that can sleep up to 12 people right in the heart of York. Best of all its situated just off ‘Bishy Road’ (voted Britain’s best high street) where you will find award winning independent shops, pubs and restaurants. There is local paid parking available thats just a 2 min walk from the houses. This is because the house is in a quiet residential neighbourhood and is set up for families and groups of friends looking for a quiet place to stay in the centre of York. 107 Nunnery Lane Summary Entrance and hall: Hang up your coats and hats. Living area: 2 sofas and an arm chair, a log burner, flat screen SMART TV with Netflix, Britbox, Freeview and books and board games. Kitchen and dining area: Everything you need to make proper family meals, a dining table that seats up to 6 (high chair on request) and a laundry area with washing machine, iron and drying rack. Cinema and games room: In the basement there is a cinema room and a games room with board games and table football. Double bedroom bedroom: Get a great nights sleep in the double bed. Attic bedroom: A quiet sanctuary that can be set up as a super king or two singles. - A fold up bed can also be set up for an additional nightly charge of £30 per stay. Single bedroom: A perfect room for an adult or child with plenty of storage space. Family bathroom: Relaxing space with a Japanese-style deep soaking tub, separate shower, large sink and toilet (baby bath on request). Courtyard: A small but beautiful south-facing courtyard with a table, bench and chairs that are perfect for pre-dinner drinks on a sunny day. 109 Nunnery Lane Summary Entrance and hall: Hang up your coats and hats. Kitchen, dining and games area: Everything you need to make proper family meals, a dining table that seats up to 6 and converts into a full sized pool table and a laundry area with washing machine. Master bedroom: Watch the world go by on the cozy window seats or get a great nights sleep in the king size bed. Attic bedroom: A quiet sanctuary where you will find a super-king bed that can also be set up as 2 singles and a SMART TV with Netflix. - A fold up bed can also be set up for an additional nightly charge of £30 per stay. Single bedroom: A perfect room for an adult or child with plenty of storage space. Family bathroom: A large bath with side taps plus a separate cubicle with a shower and a large sink and toilet. Courtyard: A small but beautiful south-facing courtyard with a table and chairs that are perfect for pre-dinner drinks on a sunny day. Guest access The whole house including the sunny back courtyard is yours to explore and relax in. Other things to note Additional nightly charge for 6th guest in each house Pricing is based on 10 people (not including infants) a fold up bed with bedding can be set up for a 6th person in each house at a cost of thirty pounds per stay. Parking We suggest if you have a lot of bags, you initially park by the house to unload. The house is 107 Nunnery Lane and the postcode is YO23 1AH and there is 10 minute drop off parking on Spencer Street which is the first left immediately after the property. We have a deal with a local guest house, with parking at £10 per day. They don't take reservations so it is on a first come basis (but there is usually space) There is a long stay York Council carpark a few minutes walk away. It is on Nunnery Lane (YO23 1AA). It is a large carpark and has lots of spaces. This costs £20 per day and you can pay in the carpark or though their mobile phone app. Electric vehicle charging There is a number of electric and rapid electric charging points available in Nunnery Lane long stay car park which is a 2 minute walk away. Broadband There is free high speed broadband wifi throughout the house.
