Welcome to Casa del Campo Rio Arriba where you will be greeted by Max, our beloved fluff Pomeranian and your hosts, Idel and Nery DeJesus. We live on premises and aim to ensure you enjoy your stay with us. Idel enjoys maintaining the lush tropical grounds and Nery enjoys cooking, sewing and manages the operations of hospitality. Idel and Nery are native to the island and welcome you to their home. The space This hidden gem sits at the base of Rio Grande of Arecibo overlooking a 1,500 ft mountainside in a beautiful, natural setting of lush greenery. This property offers a private two-bedroom, 1 bath apartment with a kitchenette, seating area, and comfortably sleeps 5 people. Enjoy a fun day of fishing, canoeing or swimming in the river. If you prefer a quiet afternoon, relax in a hammock while reading your favorite book overlooking the beautiful tropical setting in our backyard. Guest access Guests have access to the river for fishing or swimming During your stay Idel and Nery live onsite and are available to assist throughout your stay. Other things to note We are centrally located in the island just outside of Arecibo along Route 10 and neighbors in Utuado. We are close to the beaches in Arecibo and Hatillo. If you enjoy shopping, the Outlet Malls in Barceloneta are about 20 minutes away. If you enjoy exploring or hiking, the caves of Cueva Ventana are at the top of the mountain five minutes away and the Caverns of Camuy are bout a five minute drive along Route 129. Caguana Ceremonial Indigenous Center in neighboring Utuado is filled with history of the Taino people. Casa del Campo provides a nice alternative to a large resort and is centrally located to beaches, outdoor activities, shopping and cultural centers.
