The space Full licence number: HI-10082-F OUR LITTLE HOME You’ll find us nestled in the picturesque village of Badcaul, Wester Ross in the Northern Highlands of Scotland. Langridge Highland Home is a self-catering ‘home from home’ offering some of the most spectacular mountain views in the world. If you enjoy climbing and hiking, you’ll love our location on the shores of Little Loch Broom. Astronomers also love it here; there’s zero light pollution in the area, making it perfect for viewing the night sky in all its magnificent glory. Within Badcaul the skies are Grade 2 on the Bortle scale and Grade 1 just outside so it’s a fantastic place to stargaze. If conditions are right, you can see the awesome Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis), and take home memories to last a lifetime. Langridge is a 2 bedroom bungalow, and having the accommodation all on one level means it’s an ideal choice for any guest requiring disabled and / or easier access, via the large patio doors at the rear of the property. There is a triple sleeper adult bunk in front bedroom (double on bottom and single on top) with loch and mountain views and a double bed in the back bedroom. A sofa bed is available for extra charge (please request occupancy of 6 if you require linen for this) . There is a ‘Minut’ noise and occupancy monitor in place out of respect for the neighbourhood. We don’t allow cats. We are dog friendly, but we do insist that your dogs are kept under your control both inside and outside the property. Dogs are allowed throughout the house, but not on the furniture, and all waste must be disposed of appropriately. Thank you in advance for helping to respect the local area. Your happiness is our priority! Please do contact us if you have any specific requirements for your stay and, where possible, we’ll do our utmost to help. There is contactless entry to the property. The bungalow is all on one level. The front door steps can be avoided by using the rear patio entrance allowing step free access through wide doors but one person in the party will need to use the front door to access the key box. The driveway itself is steep. Other things to note Full licence number: HI-10082-F ENVIRONMENTAL CONSIDERATIONS There is a noise and occupancy monitor in place to protect the peaceful surroundings as this is a beautiful remote location and partying is not allowed. Please ask permission before booking if you want to entertain any guests not listed on your booking. The area is a dark skies area and we ask guests to minimise light pollution and be mindful of both noise and light when checking in. We use renewable fuel where available and offset our oil central heating for environmental reasons. We have a dedicated electric vehicle point but please do get in touch with us to let us know if you’d like to use it. You will need to pay for the electricity used (when charging your electric vehicle) at the cost of our electricity. Due to the remote location, rubbish disposal is important. We ask you to work with us to make sure rubbish is on roadside in time for the council’s Thursday collection. A neighbour can help less mobile guests get the bins to roadside. We are dog friendly but ask guests to be responsible owners not only on our property but in the neighbourhood. We don’t allow cats. Registration Details HI-10082-F
