A cosy 3 bedroom Cottage with Hot Tub, Log Burner & Enclosed Garden along with Parking. Sleeping up to 8 guests in 1 king bedroom, 2 twin bedrooms and a sofa bed. A 15 minute gentle walk into Keswick with a pub over the road. An ideal base for exploring the Lakes or just relaxing. Up to 2 well behaved pets welcome. The space Keswick is in the North of the beautiful English Lake District. It is a market town with an array of Bars, shops, restaurants and cafes. It is easily accessed by car from the M6 and A66. The nearest train station is Penrith from which you can get a local bus or a taxi. Walkers are close to Skiddaw, Blencathra and Latrigg to name but a few. The two nearest Lakes are Braithwaite and Derwentwater where watersports are available. Mountain bikers have access to Whinlatter Forest 10 minutes away and Grizedale Forest about an hour away. For those looking for culture, The Lakes Distillery, The Theatre on the Lake and Wordsworth's home of Grasmere (and the famous Grasmere Gingerbread) are a short drive from the cottage taking in some magnificent scenery along the way. The property offers reverse style accommodation with the three bedrooms downstairs along with a bathroom. Upstairs you will find the living space and a further shower room. Guest access Guests have the use of the whole house and Gardens. We are dog friendly up to 2 dogs but they must not be left in the house unattended. Other things to note There are 4 steps to ascend to enter the property. We strongly recommend that you have travel insurance as refunds will not be given if weather conditions or illness prevents you from travelling.
