The space ・Entire house (NO SHARING) for a group of 1–4 guests. ・13 minutes from Kyoto Station (3 min train + 10 min walk) Please check the floor plan in the photos for a clear idea of the layout and size of the house. Room Setup: ・For 2 guests: We provide 1 queen bed in the black room (you can use the white room as a living room). If you would like 2 separate bedrooms (queen bed in the black room, queen mattresses in the white room), you can pay an additional fee (+3000 yen for the whole stay). ※ Please make sure to let us know in advance if needed. ・For 3 and 4 guests: We provide a queen bed in the black room and queen mattresses in the white room. Amenities: washer-dryer (washing machine with dryer) AC (three) air purifier / humidifier hair dryer face towel, bath towel, blanket, linens (pillowcase, sheets, duvet cover) toothbrush, toothpaste shampoo, conditioner, body wash, face wash appliances (fridge, microwave, toaster oven, water heater, small electric stovetop, basic cutlery, cups, and plates) tea, coffee, condiments, etc. music player wifi A quietly restored 80-year-old Kyoto machiya, blending rustic charm with simple modern essentials. You’ll find a soulful space where art, history, and creative energy meet. The house features two hand-painted mandalas by local artists, a cozy tsuboniwa (small garden), and a tranquil gallery space. While it retains the character (and quirks) of an old home, essential updates like bathroom, toilet and washer-dryer etc have been carefully installed to support a comfortable stay. Guest access You have full access to the whole house. However please do not move furniture and art pieces. Other things to note - If you wish to ship your luggage to the accommodation, please notify us in advance. Ensure that you specify the delivery date and time, and arrange for it to be received after your check-in. We are not responsible for receiving your luggage. - If you plan to bring your luggage before check-in, please notify us in advance. Due to cleaning schedules, check-in is after 3 PM, but you may drop off your luggage from 11 AM on the day of check-in. - We do not provide luggage storage services after check-out. - For stays longer than 1 week, we require a weekly cleaning service (additional 6000 yen per cleaning). This includes changing towels and sheets. - The stairs are very steep. - Please be careful of the low ceilings and wood beams at all times. - The minimal kitchen is not meant for heavy duty cooking.
