Further north are the gardens overlooking the lake of Villa Olmo and other elegant villas. The ideal way to explore the center of Como is on foot. All the main attractions, including the funicular to Brunate, can be reached with pleasant walks. To explore the villages of the lake, you can take the bus to Menaggio or Bellagio, or the ferry, which allows different types of itineraries. The apartment can be reached from Como Borghi station on foot in 3 minutes. Paid parking lots are available along the road or it is possible to park for a fee in the Municipal Parking Garage in via Auguardi.
