17th Century Manor House
The space Situated within the beautiful surrounds of the Loire Valley, this charming 17th century Anjou manor house is a stunning home filled with character and beauty. Just a short drive from some of the Loire s most historic towns and cities and surrounded by the sweeping vineyards of one of France s most popular wine producing regions, this classic French home is simply idyllic. A huge, well maintained garden frames the house with a beautiful heated swimming pool and pergola at its centre. Inside, stone walls, wooden beams and rustic fireplaces offer plenty of original character whilst modern furnishings and technology bring the house right up to the present day. There are two parts to this amazing country abode, the main house offers a spacious lounge, fully equipped kitchen and four beautifully appointed bedrooms, three doubles and a twin, with the master bedroom and four poster bed. Three further bedrooms are found in the adjoining cottage (large gite), where you ll find a living room and kitchen, a king size bedroom, a triple bedroom and a twin bedroom adjacent to a wet room/shower room which is suitable for mobility impaired, each with an ensuite bathroom. There is an additional smaller gite for up to three further guests, the rental for this being separate and upon request only (subject to availability). Included Staff & Services Details - Table tennis, boules, badminton and table football are all available for your enjoyment and other outdoor games - Additional services and amenities which can be arranged for an extra charge include pool towels, housekeeping, bike hire and catering as well as wine, bread/pastries and beer delivery. Yoga classes, massage treatments, tours and excursions can also be arranged - The house caters for helicopter landings so please do enquire at the time of booking should this be required - The eco-heated, saltwater swimming pool is open from mid-May until mid-September (will raise a minimum ambient night temperature by max 10C during the following day). The pool is one depth throughout and therefore may not be suitable for small children. It is also alarmed - You'll find a small free library at the end of the drive which is available for guests and the local community to use. Please feel free to leave any unwanted books at the end of your stay - Cot and highchair available upon request (one of each)! House Rules and Information - A minimum stay requirement of seven nights applies to all bookings with changeovers operating on Saturdays. Out of peak season, it may be possible to arrange an alternative arrival/departure day depending upon availability. Please enquire prior to booking - Additional accommodation is available in the small gite for up to three guests however does not have direct access to the pool and is a separate property. Please enquire prior to booking, as this is a subject to availability - Please note, a personal check out with the housekeeper is required for all reservations - Guests staying during Christmas will enjoy a complimentary Christmas tree, Christmas hamper, case of sparkling ros wine and a welcome hamper - Smoking and pets are not permitted at this home - Please note that parts of this home are unsuitable for small children and the mobility impaired. Please enquire for further details. - There may be a limit to the number of infants accepted on any one booking so please do ask.
