Tiny home in Whitehorse
Description
Enjoy the simplicity of this unique cabin set in 21 private acres on Cowley Lake. This is the perfect place to base your Yukon adventures and take time out to relax. The stunning lake and mountain views are worth the visit. I hope you enjoy the photos...they are all taken on or around the property. It really is a photographer's paradise. The space This unique cabin was originally built to be set on a river barge boat. Tucked away in a quiet corner of the property, it is now available for our guests during their time in the Yukon. There is a spacious living area, kitchen and bedroom. It's simple but homely. In traditional Yukon cabin style it has been hooked up to electricity, is heated by wood stove, does not have running water (we provide water for guests), and it's closest bathroom facilities is an outhouse in the forest! Guest access Due to cover-19, we have changed how we host guests at the moment. There is no longer access to the main house for breakfast and showers. I have reduced the rate to reflect this change and hope guests will still be able to enjoy our corner of the Yukon. You are still welcome to enjoy the garden and take the canoe out on the lake, and our dog Banjo will be so excited to see you! Other things to note The Yukon is evolving into quite the mountain bike mecca, and Traveling Light Bed and Breakfast is conveniently situated halfway between the amazing trails of Whitehorse and the spectacular biking trails of Carcross. The perfect place to base yourself for an amazing mountain biking adventure. If you are coming in the winter months and plan to go on a dog mushing adventure, please take the time to book before you get here to make sure you get a dog team. My favorite place to go dog mushing is Sky High Wilderness Ranch out at Fish Lake.
