This cabin has two rooms, one with a queen bed and the separate living room/kitchen area has a fold-out double futon. You have access through a private front door of your cabin.You have access to a separate building that has a shower , pedestal sink and toilet. Hosts Ben and Fancy are either on the premises or available by text so questions will be answered expeditiously. We enjoy conversing about history and the best hiking and fishing spots. Enjoy this authentic 1950's log cabin, located above Snug Harbor on Kenai lake . . It is close to world class fishing in the Kenai River and multiple hiking trails and mountain biking. Remember, you are in Alaska and wildlife abounds. Do not approach wild animals and always be alert and aware of your surroundings. A taxi is available , but you can actually walk to most of Cooper landings businesses if you so desire , I have many suggestions , but need to know what shape you are in for before I send you up a mountain Many trails start and end in Cooper Landing. It really is in the center of the Kenai Peninsula. Great fishing, rafting, hiking, and kayaking are all available. Cooper Landing is close to Seward, Hope, and (URL HIDDEN) and a great stopover on the way to Homer. You have access to a new walking path on Snug Harbor Road from the top or our driveway.
