The space Puertas has six guestrooms and the excellent restaurant, El Quenepo. A large communal porch (with access to hotel guests only) is filled with plants and comfortable seating and dining tables that overlooks the Caribbean Sea and the lively Malecón. Puertas is within walking distance of many restaurants, several bars, shopping, water sports activities and of course the most important of all, the meeting points for the Bioluminescent Bay Tours. Your room, Zapote, is located on the second floor with a private terrace overlooking the Caribbean Sea, hammock, outdoor dining table and chairs. Each room has a private bathroom, air conditioning, ceiling fans, in room coffee service, hair dryer, toiletries, iron, ironing board and very comfortable beds. Included with each room are beach towels, a cooler and beach chairs. Your room has access to the shared common terrace overlooking the Malecón (Boardwalk) and the Caribbean Sea. We deliver your breakfast basket to your door each morning. Inside you will find a nutritious, filling breakfast that changes from day to day. When you book with us you will receive a guide to assist you with planning your trip and all of the wonderful options that Vieques has to offer. Our "Isla Nena" (as she is affectionately known) has a surprising amount of activities to offer and countless moments to do absolutely nothing but relax. Please note on weekend nights and holidays there is lots of loud music as you are located in the heart of the Malecón (boardwalk). This is where the island visitors and locals come to have fun. There is the potential for noise that we, Puertas, are unable to control. With this notice, if you decide to cancel during your visit, you will not be refunded. Guest access Guests have access to our pavilion tucked away in the garden and the large communal second floor terrace with comfortable seating overlooking the Esperanza Bay.
