Very small town with few restaurants, no supermarkets and limited resources. Plan to bring whatever you want to use from home. Free parking in front of your room. You will need a vehicle to get to Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks but 4 wheel drive in not necessary when there is no chain control due to snow. All roads are highway accessible and paved.
