Max 2ppl/room = max 2 ppl/booking The space Star House is an additional bungalow dwelling to Auberge de la Cigogne with 4 modest double bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, a shared bathroom and a large open-plan common area. The place is on the auberge’s flat roof so the guests can benefit from this huge terrace layout which provides a beautiful view of the city and the mountains to the North. The whole place is split in to two separate levels with the bedrooms upstairs and the rest downstairs. A clever system with a rotating ladder is used to access all four bedrooms. Star House is not your usual hotel-type accommodation – actually, it looks more like a fancy tree house. This feature gives it a unique outdoor feel with fresh breeze going through all day and the neighborhood buzz keeping you curious about what the people next door are doing. It can be used all-year-round thanks to the pretty constant Haitian weather. There is Wi-Fi throughout the house but as you can imagine, some places are better for surfing than others – just talk to us and we’ll let you know the secret hot spots. A couple of things that you need to keep in mind – Star House is a partially outside space so dust, wind, sun, occasional rain and the neighborhood noise are unavoidable, therefore this unique space is best suited for active and adventurous individuals who don’t mind the little discomforts that come as part of the package but without which this place wouldn’t be so special.
