When you stay with me, you have the security of knowing someone cares about your visit! I’m a frequent traveler and love my wonderful family, so hospitality is important to me. I’ve loved setting up my guest studio, and hope you’ll love staying here. The studio is attached to our long time family home in Amarillo. If you’re familiar with “in-law quarters,” the setup is similar; totally private with a private entrance, but adjoining the main house. You’ll arrive at the house and park in the driveway; we’re located in a friendly, safe and quiet neighborhood just off the famous Route 66 near the Country Club. The path along the side of the house leads to the studio’s private entrance at the back. I’ll send you a code to unlock the door after you book; contactless check-in and check-out is easy, safe and convenient! When you come inside, the large totally remodeled bathroom and laundry will be to your left. Down a short hallway, you’ll find the main room of the guest studio. The kitchenette to your right is like a full kitchen, scaled-down! Petite appliances save space while still providing everything you need for your visit. I found a great table that provides enough space for two to dine, and expands to provide a larger space for working if you need it. The brand new bed is firm enough to be supportive and soft enough for a good night’s sleep. Crisp fresh linens and high-quality bedding make every night a little getaway. Amarillo has four-season weather, so there is air conditioning for warm days, heat for cool times, and a ceiling fan for enjoying Amarillo’s famous breezes through the beautiful spring and fall. We’re in a fantastic location for enjoying Amarillo’s visitor attractions, including the Route 66 Historic District around 6th Street and Cadillac Ranch! The Botanical Garden is also just a few minutes away and is a magical place to explore! Amarillo College and several hospitals are very close, and the Grand Canyon of Texas (Palo Duro Canyon) is just about half an hour from us. Tons of dining and shopping right nearby!
