Canyon Cottage is 1100 sq feet and is located on the property adjacent to Baycrest Lodge with fully stocked kitchen, private hot tub & fire pit, washer/dryer and all new furnishings. The privacy and view are unbeatable! This cottage is perfect for a couple or small family looking for a comfortable home with an incredible, unobstructed view of Kachemak Bay and the Kenai Mountains! The space ***We are NOT your typical vacation rental! Leave the cleaning to us! We request that guests do NOT strip our beds or wash any of our linens. If you have quite a few dirty dishes, starting a load would be very much appreciated but not required. You can truly be on vacation when you stay at a guest home at Baycrest Lodge!*** Unlike all of our other units, we did not build Canyon Cottage. Prior to renting it out we remodeled it and it looks amazing! Have a sense of humor when you’re staying because of the location of some of the lighting, ceiling height on the stairs, bedroom sizes, among other quirks, has us chuckling! While the cottage has it’s quirks, the incredible view and privacy more than make up for that! AMENITIES • Private outdoor Arctic Spa hot tub (runs year-round) • Sleeps 4 comfortably, 6 max (4 adults, 2 children) • 1 bedroom with a queen bed (downstairs) • 1 partially open loft with door & a king bed • 1 sleeper sofa is located at the top of the stairs in the loft (outside of the bedroom) • 2 Full bathrooms (1 upstairs, 1 downstairs) • Full kitchen including dishwasher, blender, mixer, toaster, coffee pot, Instant Pot and Keurig Coffee Maker. • LED flat screen tv in living room • High speed WiFi • Washer/Dryer • Dining table seats 6 • Lawn/yard • Outdoor fire pit (we supply the wood & fire starter) • Weber natural gas grill on porch (no filling of tanks) The cottage has a 2 night minimum. There is NO daily maid service. We provide: Bedding/linens, blankets, towels, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, lotion, hand soap, kleenex, toilet paper, hair dryer, bathroom spray, Qtips, dishes, wine glasses, cookware, utensils, kitchen towels, sponge, dish soap, spices, cooking spray, paper towels, coffee, coffee filters, creamers, sugar, tea, hot chocolate, tin foil, laundry detergent, trash bags, fully stocked fire pit (fire starter, wood, kindling) and hot dog/marshmallow sticks. Other things to note HOT TUB POLICY: The hot tubs are for paying guests only for their reserved unit's hot tub. We do not allow non paying guests. Showering is required prior to entering hot tub. Children must be supervised by parents or responsible adult. Use hot tub at your own risk. We will be by DAILY to clean the hot tub. After each use, please replace hot tub cover and bungee/tie downs. You will be charged to replace the lid if it gets carried away in the wind or it's left open all night. If we have to drain and refill the hot tub due to abuse and/or excessive dirtiness, you will be charged $350. SERVICING THE PROPERTY: To ensure impeccable quality of our properties, Baycrest Lodge personnel will be by DAILY to service your hot tub. Lawn care is completed weekly in the summer, typically midday, but is subject to change due to schedule or weather. Snow removal is completed as needed and starts early in the morning to ensure clean porches and pathways for our guests. Thank you for understanding!
