With a roomy dine in kitchen, a character sitting room and a gas fire place. All makes for a very cozy atmosphere. There is a full family bathroom and an en-suite with shower in the master bedroom. In the rear there is a court yard garden. This cottage is an ideal location for monthly stays during this covid-19 time. All heating and electricity are included in your stay whether it’s a week or a month. Other things to note TYPICAL REVIEW ABOUT MAPLE LEAF COTTAGE Hi Colin & Pam We’d originally booked for June but unfortunately had to cancel at the very last minute (in fact on the day) due to illness. We communicated this to Colin and Pam (as well as Sandra the housekeeper) who were more than happy to accommodate us at a later date at our convenience. To this end, we’ve just returned from a very pleasant 8 night stay in this lovely cottage which is every bit as wonderful as detailed on-line and in previous guest reviews. Very cosy and well appointed and with the added benefits of both an en-suite and full bathroom, as well as free on-street parking right outside. The cottage is ideally situated for all the local shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs as well as the KWVR. And if you want to travel out of town, without taking the car, there are good local bus services.  Main Street itself is only a 5 minute walk and is very steep but luckily the cottage is at the lower end so it’s always easier getting home, especially if you’re like me and have ‘dodgy knees’ 😄 The cottage is highly recommended and we wouldn’t hesitate in returning and indeed are planning to do so as there still many places we need to visit.
