Yes there are ticks in the woods. Note: The cabin is on a gravel road - about 1 mile off of paved. The road is in great shape and plowed and kept in great condition even in Winter. Other things to note The living room sofa converts into a full-size bed — remove the cover, pull out the bottom section, and adjust the back to your preferred angle for sleeping or lounging. Before You Arrive — A Few Things Worth Grabbing Stores are 15–20 minutes away, so it's worth picking up a few things on the way in: K-Cups for the Keurig (we don't supply them) Breakfast items and any groceries Cooking oil for the Blackstone griddle Firewood for the fire pit (sometimes available on-site, but not guaranteed) A lighter — bring one! They tend to disappear between stays. Outdoor Bluetooth Sound System We have an outdoor Bluetooth speaker set up and ready to go. Weather & Mechanical Systems: While rare, extreme weather can occasionally affect mechanical systems. If anything comes up, we respond immediately and work to resolve it as fast as possible. Temporary solutions may be provided during repairs. Once an issue is resolved and amenities are back in working order, refunds are not issued for the interruption.
