Please see Rayleigh River Retreat Youtube. The Rayleigh River Retreat is a wonderful place to stay and experience. Our 1200 sq ft suite is situated on our 1 acre property and is totally your space. Enjoy this PRIVATE retreat nestled in a beautiful backyard riverfront oasis. Enjoy the koi pond while relaxing on the patio, stroll down to the river for a beach walk or swim, or experience the countless flower and vegetable gardens. After your meal, enjoy an aperitif beside the pond or fire barrel. The space RECENTLY BEAUTIFULLY REMODELLED AND UPDATED. The entire space has been recently re modelled inside and out including a renovated outdoor patio space complete with added privacy features such as a stunning gazebo over the pond. Our guests will enjoy a private access to the apartment and immaculate river front property. The apartment itself is the entire bottom floor of our 6000 square foot house which overlooks our 1 acre property. There is a beautiful koi fish pond and stunning gazebo with an outdoor patio area and fire table right outside the apartment door that is surrounded by greenery making it hidden from view and very private. The patio area has a gas fire table , 2nd private sitting area , and dining table right beside the pond . The riverfront and vast beach are just steps away down the yard. There are many vegetable and flower beds to stroll through and enjoy. We have also added a hammock and a shady private sitting area across from the pond complete with comfy chairs and tables for more peaceful and serenity time with your friends and family. Skiers can enjoy a very comfortable stay with all the amenities of home in all areas of the apartment with just a short drive to Sun Peaks. Having the ability to cook your own meals and have rooms to spread out and relax is an added bonus too. As always your comfort is my priority so we do hope you will book your next ski vacation with us. Sparkling cleaning procedures and sanitation of all surfaces are strictly followed in our suite. We provide beautifully scented disinfection/cleaning products and to allow our guests the ability to do their own cleaning if they wish to do so. Always fresh linens, duvets, towels and coverlets for our guests will give you a sense freshness when you enter our suite. There is a floating dock when the river is high from May to August and a beautiful beach available from August to May, perfect for sunbathing and sun tanning. Wedding Ceremonies: Wedding Ceremonies - We charge $500 for our wedding ceremonies that take place beside the pond or down by the river between the two pine trees. A wedding arbor is available during summer months between the pine trees only . The suite has an area beside the pond for mingling and pictures after the ceremony. Maximum of 25 people per ceremony between 3-5 pm, no alcohol is permitted, maximum number of cars is 10. The extra large main bedroom has a beautiful queen bed with a fire place and desk allowing for plenty of space to relax in. If the need arises a queen or twin blow up bed with a very comfortable mattress and overlay can be set up in this large main bedroom to accommodate 1 to 2 more guests making the total number of guests we ca accommodate to 8. The 2nd bedroom has a beautiful sleigh double bed very tastefully decorated with room to relax in as well. All of our beds have alternative down duvets with 100 percent Bamboo Cotten sheets , and fluffy pillows to ensure your sleep is in the dream zone. All bedding is steam sanitized to ensure your sleep is fresh and restful. Our recently renovated living room has been very tastefully decorated to incorporate a very comfy cozy feel with a 72 inch screen smart TV and sound bar, fire place, L shaped couch so you can stretch out and watch your favorite TV show. This room has a beautiful bay window the overlooks the pond and enjoys a beautiful river and grounds view. There is also a pull out sofa bed with a very comfortable gel foam mattress. Our recently re modelled kitchen has all the amenities of home making your culinary experience very enjoyable. It has been tastefully updated with extra kitchen islands added to allow you more room to make your favorite meals. It is fully equipped from spices, pots, pans, dishes and more, all with the aim to make your cooking easier and more enjoyable. We are told our COFFEE/TEA BAR is fantastic, Nespresso machine, milk frother for lattes, French press, fresh coffee beans, tea infuser with a wonderful selection of teas, hot chocolate, chocolates and cookies, beautiful coffee and tea mugs, what more could you ask for and all complimentary. The newly renovated bathroom is equipped with big bath towels, hair dryer and shampoo/conditioner and soap. We provide beautifully scented soaps and creams to start your day off right. The space is very tastefully decorated with all the amenities of home leaving many of guests telling us it feels just like they are staying in a home not a hotel with the most common phrase being "we wish we had stayed longer!" Check out our You Tube video. Guest access Guests access suite by private driveway on the left side of the house with parking available right beside the door. Keypads on doors make for easy self check-in. Other things to note BERNIE -our Bernese Mountain dog, roams the property freely. Bernie is friendly and is very social. If guests have their own dog, it must be friendly with other dogs. We also have a cat Marie that roams the property. Coffee is provided. SPRINKLERS - come on at 10 am and 3 pm. They spray the pond area so please be aware. Watering- patio plants will be watered in the afternoon at your convenience . Fish - will be fed twice daily. Am and pm at your convenience. PARKING -Please do not park on the lawns as we have underground sprinklers and they can break . NON SMOKING -Please note this is a non-smoking suite and pond area. Feel free to smoke on all other areas of the property. NO PARTIES - This is in a residential neighbourhood and parties are not permitted.
