Farm stay in Greencastle

Welcome to our house in the country. Located on a quiet country road you can sit on the porch and watch the sunset over the Mountains to the west. When the weather is warm, we host goat yoga at our farm with our Nigerian Dwarf Goats. We are located less than nine scenic miles away from Whitetail Resort and Mercersburg Pennsylvania. Cushwa Basin on the C&O Canal is less than 14 miles away. We are also a short drive away from Antietam and Gettysburg National Battlefield. The space Our home is located on our farm where we host goat yoga on weekends when the weather is appropriate. We have 8 Nigerian Dwarf Goats, 2 Katahdin Sheep, 7 Horses, and Rhode Island Red Chickens. That number is subject to change since we are going to breed our goats. We don't have any Roosters so you don't have to worry about a 4:00 am wake up call. Guest access You will have access to the entire home minus the owners closet and the cellar. Our house features a large wood stove that is capable of keeping the entire home warm. There is a large porch on the front of the house that offers wonderful sunset views to the west. You can also see Whitetail Ski Resort from there. To the rear of our home there is a brick patio with a picnic table to enjoy eating outside. There is also a large maple tree to provide shade. Other things to note We feed our animals daily. Typically we do this in the late afternoon or early evening. If you or your family are interested in meeting our animals you are more than welcome to join us. Our goats are very friendly and well socialized. We are home to seven horses. Our horses have come from many different situations to get here. Many have come from rescue or situations where they were at risk. One of our rescues, Jet, has been known on occasion to smile while taking a horse selfie picture. We like to think that our horses like living here so much that they can't help but smile.
