Set high on a hillside above Tekapo village, Takapō Escape has been especially designed to comfortably accommodate two families in four bedrooms, including baby in a lovely wooden cot. It boasts a spacious, sunny living and dining area with big doors opening out to a deck across the front of the house. The space An outdoor BBQ, chairs and table means you can relax and soak up the alpine air and stunning views of the lake and surrounding mountains. The perfect spot to enjoy Tekapo’s renowned night sky! The house has two heat pumps, lots of games, puzzles and toys for the children, plus a table tennis table, several bikes and a full bookshelf for your enjoyment. The second queen bedroom has a lovely wooden cot (bring your own bedding). A third bedroom offers a queen bed, with a single bunk bed above and a set of bunks (2 single beds). The fourth bedroom has 2 sets of bunks (4 single beds). By prior agreement well-behaved dogs are welcome at this pet-friendly property, so your whole family can enjoy the break (unfenced). A fee of $30 per dog per stay applies, and owners are expected to follow a few simple rules. Other things to note Linen, towels and cleaning is included in the nightly rate. To ensure that we provide the correct linen please include the total number of guests when booking, including children. We ask that you are mindful about your bed choice when staying, as additional costs will be charged for beds used in excess of the number of guests booked. Infants under 2 years are welcome and are free in the lovely wooden cot (BYO cot bedding). For stays less than 5 nights your accommodation is un-serviced, therefore all supplies & linen initially provided are for the duration of your stay. Extra supplies can be purchased at the local supermarket.
