For an additional fee, it is possible to organize additional/ more elaborated dishes for lunch and dinner. *** The building is newly constructed and designed with Spanish-colonial architecture. The building´s interior is very fresh and cool because of location and orientation. We keep the facilities clean and orderly. We do pay attention to improving our service for your comfort as well as improving our natural environment. We have INVERTER air conditioners, in addition to a hybrid water heating system with a thermosyphon solar heater. We separate our organic waste to turn it into COMPOST and we collect plastics and aluminum to recycle. We recycle everything we can, whenever we can. There are SECURITY CAMERAS at the entrances of the building. The room is on the second floor and access is by central stairs. On the first floor, the hall, lobby, living room, dining room, kitchen and garden facilities are available. WE RENT BIKES so that you can explore the beautiful bay of Chetumal, the downtown area and Calderitas. If you are a lover of exercise, across the street there is a running track in the university as well as a semi-Olympic pool. Furthermore, nearby there are several outdoor gyms, basketball, and football courts. WE RENT KAYAKS so you can explore the bay of Chetumal in the water. WE SELL specialty COFFEE. We provide INVOICES. Guest access The room is located on the second floor, accessible through the main stairs of the building. The entire first floor is one large common area. There is a living room with comfortable sofas, a fully equipped kitchen with gas stove, utensils, refrigerator, and everything you need to prepare your meals. There is a large dining table as well as seating areas. Laundry room and a backyard with a nice little garden at your disposal. Please smoke outside. Also, under your request, we can install a projector on the first floor for you to enjoy Netflix, Prime or Youtube. *** Cafeteria: We are coffee lovers, and that's why we have a KRUPS coffee maker. At an additional cost, we can prepare you Esspresso, Ristretto, Doppo, Lungo, Cappuccino, Cafe Late, Café Americano, Flat White, Cafe Au Lait, and Iced Coffee. *** Restaurant: We can prepare fruit salads, smoothies, and juices on request. Likewise, we can provide you with regional food dishes. Just let us know in advance! Other things to note In Chetumal and surroundings, mass public transportation is very inefficient. The best way to get around the city and nearby destinations of interest is by means of taxicabs. We, at Casa R&R, can gladly order taxis directly to our accommodation or provide you with reliable taxi numbers! As for local taxis, they have a tabulator sheet where the costs are detailed based on the travelled distances. Likewise, it is convenient to agree on the price before going to any destination. A peculiarity of local taxis is that they do not charge for an additional person and usually pick up people who are traveling in the same direction.
