El Legado Golf Resort provides an excellent transit location for major attractions (30-70 minute drive) such as El Yunque Rainforest, the cities of Ponce and San Juan, the Spanish forts El Morro and San Cristobal (World Heritage Sites), the natural wonder of bioluminescence at the Mosquito Bay in Vieques, stunning beaches, and local communities of south, east and central Puerto Rico are easily accessible (30-minute drive). The nearby Pozuelo area (a 10-minute drive) is a local favorite for ecotourism, boating, standup paddle boarding, snorkeling, diving and enjoying seafood. Some of our favorites activities are going to El Yunque Rainforest, hiking in the Central Mountain range, visiting Lake Carite, enjoying lechon asado (roasted pork) in Guavate and seafood in Pozuelo area.
