Gladee's at Hirtle's Beach

"Gladee's at Hirtle's Beach" is a fourth generation, 150 year old home, anchored amidst a magnificent vista of ocean, lakes and glacial drumlin,considered by many to be Nova Scotia at its finest. The Creasers are well-respected for their restoration and transformation of Gladee's, home to custom-built furnishings, local art, folk art and antiques. Gladee's neighbouring two-plus miles of white sandy beach welcomes waders, body surfers and beachcombers. The space We are located only a few hundred feet from one of Nova Scotia's finest beaches. You can enjoy great access as there are two nearby lakes for swimming. The waves at the beach are spectacular { great for surfing}. We have lots of toys at the beach house for the kids to enjoy in the sand and board games to play with at the house. We have been renting very successfully for the last 14 years and have just posted on Airbnb. We are all booked for the summer, however we still have lots of time available for the spring and fall. Guest access You will have the entire house to yourself, with two decks to enjoy a BBQ on and look over at the lake and ocean. Other things to note Hirtle's Beach is a public beach, so on a hot summers day the beach can get busy, but there are times you will have the beach to yourself.
