The apartment has a classic Franco-Tamil facade. The eclectic stencil-painted walls and antique furniture make interiors fun, Insta-worthy and unbelievably cozy. The apartment has many cushy nooks and corners for the lazy spirit in you that wants to unwind and relax before you head outside and paint the town red. You're welcome to use the living room, dining area, kitchen and the cozy corner around the apartment. If you want to lie down and read or listen to music, pick the hat corner. If you'd like to sit and read by a lamp, park yourself on the sea green arm chair. Although we live in Pondicherry, we travel quite frequently. If we're in Pondicherry during your stay, we'll be sure to help you in anyway we can. Located off MG Road, the apartment is every shopper's delight with its close proximity to Sunday Market, Mission Street and Nehru Street which are Pondicherry's "shopping districts". The best restaurants and cafes in Pondicherry are less than a 10 minute walk away. The Pondicherry railway station and bus stop are 2km away. Nilgris and Pothys, two of the best-stocked supermarkets in Pondy, are 400m away. There is a popular bakery just opposite the building and the most sought-after restaurants in Pondicherry are within a one kilometer radius. The most popular way to get around Pondicherry is to rent a motored two-wheeler like Honda Activa or TVS Scooty. Since Pondicherry Town's radius is only 2km, most places can be covered on foot, bicycle or by autorickshaw (tuk-tuk). To visit Auroville, we highly recommend renting a motorbike or hiring a taxi for the day as distances within Auroville are huge. We can help arrange for motorbike, taxi rentals and airport pickups/drops for you. PARKING: Parking within the building is for residents only. The apartment is suitable only for families / groups / couples looking to spend a quiet and peaceful holiday in Pondicherry. EARLY CHECK-IN: An early check-in will depend on whether we have guests staying the previous night. If we don't we'd be happy to give you an early check-in. In case we do, you're welcome to leave your bags with us and come back later for your check-in. When our manager calls you the day before your arrival, you can check with him/her on this. 4. LATE CHECK-OUT: Our housekeeper will need to clean and prep the room for the next guest at check-out time. So a late checkout may not be possible. An option would be to leave your bags in the common area and to pick it up later
