After exploring Oregon wine country, unwind in this cozy home with an evening of stargazing in the courtyard. This spacious 2,600 square foot house is centered around a courtyard, with a terrace extending from the dining room offering stunning views of the Dundee hills. Fully equipped with a kitchen ready for home-cooked meals or the option to arrange a culinary experience with a private chef, the house boasts comfortable new furnishings and luxurious linens. Featuring two large bedrooms each with a king-size bed and private sitting areas and one smaller bedroom with a queen-size bed, this house is ideal for couples touring wine country. A second living room, opposite the bedroom wing, provides a relaxing space for watching movies, napping, or indulging in a good book. Situated on five acres, most of which are adorned with majestic Douglas fir trees, the property offers tranquility and privacy. Basic kitchen supplies including coffee, tea, sugar, oil, vinegar, and spices are provided to get you started. The coffee pot is drip-style, with the option to make a single cup (travel mugs fit), and both options utilize reusable filters (no disposable k-cup inserts). There are 2.5 bathrooms in the house. The main bedroom features an ensuite full bathroom with a tub/shower combination. In the bedroom wing, a second spacious bathroom offers a large step-in shower (no tub). Additionally, there is a small bathroom located in the other wing adjacent to the television room, equipped with a toilet and sink. The large, bright dining room can comfortably accommodate up to eight people, serving as an ideal setting for meetings or lively dinner parties. Guests have access to the entire house with the exception of two locked closets. There is also a storage barn on the property not available to guests. Perhaps best of all the guest house in the center of the Dundee Hills AVA with several tasting rooms in walking distance and dozens more a short drive. Some of the nearby wineries are: Lange, Torii Mor, Alexana, Rodeo Hills, Knudsen, Arterberry Maresh, Winderlea, Furioso and Domaine Roy & fils. The scenery is breathtaking with the town of Dundee, four miles away, filled with award winning restaurants, tasting rooms, and coffee shops. Public transportation is limited in the county. A car will provide the most freedom for exploration, though limo and van wine tours are popular options with a driver available to collect you at the guest house. INTERNET: We now have STARLINK at the house for a much faster connection than we could previously offer. TELEVISION: There is a Roku TV with Netflix, Hulu, and (limited) Roku channels. Over the air, cable, satellite, and premium channels are not available. YOUNG CHILDREN: We're sorry, the house is not suitable for young children (walking through age 5ish).
