Situated on the 1st floor and arranged all on one level, this charming property boasts beautiful views of the gardens, tennis court and rolling Devon hills beyond. In spring and summer, the outside is adorned with cascading Wisteria, kiwi fruit & passion flowers - making the private covered balcony a truly magical space for dining alfresco. The cosy interior also makes this the perfect place to escape to in Autumn and Winter, where the surrounding sights and sounds change with the seasons. The space With two ensuite bedrooms, this self-catering property lends itself to a family, or couples. If your group is larger than four people, you can also book The Traditional Oak Barn next door, which sleeps an extra six people accommodating a total group size of 10. The light, bright and airy master bedroom has a lovely hand carved double bed with adjoining private bathroom. The second bedroom is set up as a twin room with its own spacious modern bathroom. The main living space has a snuggly sofa & armchair, dining table and a compact, but well-equipped galley-style kitchen. With fast Wi-Fi and a TV, it also has all the mod cons you might need. You will have the shared use of the grass tennis court, the gardens, the games room, gym, sauna and indoor heated pool. The indoor swimming pool is heated and surrounded by exotic plants and has doors to a sauna and a gym. You are welcome to wander in the luscious and colourful gardens, play croquet on the lawn, play tennis on the immaculate grass tennis court (only useable in the summer months of course) and use the Games room with snooker, table football and ping pong on the terrace outside. Other things to note We are in a remote Devon valley but close to the beach, the river, towns and villages, there is no sound or light pollution except for the bleating of the sheep, the mooing of the cows, tractors, buzzards and birds flying overhead, the cooing of Sheila's doves and the owls in the valley at night. The indoor swimming pool is heated and surrounded by exotic plants and has doors to a sauna and a gym. You are welcome to wander in the luscious and colourful gardens, play croquet on the lawn, play tennis on the immaculate grass tennis court (only useable in the summer months of course) and use the Games room with snooker, table football and ping pong on the terrace outside. We have no mobile phone signal here but offer free wifi and a landline for local and emergency calls.
