This cute 2 bedroom, 1 bath cabin is a mountain vacation get away. Our deck and lakeside windows look directly out onto Payette Lake and the rugged Idaho mountains beyond. Walk to the beach, Ice Cream Alley, or many of the local restaurants in just a minute or two. Watch the lake come to life from the comfort of your Adirondack chair on the lake view deck - Or relax as the sun sets over the water highlighting the sail boats in the McCall marina. Set up for your fun filled family vacation! In the words of past guests: "All of the furnishings and details are gorgeous in this place. The fireplace provided excellent heat for the winter evenings and the heat worked great in the bedrooms as well. The kitchen had more than what we needed and the Keurig was great! We loved the speakers in the living room to listen to music and the Smart TV for movies. Our favorite touch was probably the games and cards available to play!" "This cabin is fantastic! Text is usually best. Our cabin sits on a little hill, overlooking Payette Lake. There are 3 other small cabins scattered on our street. It is a quiet little neighborhood on the edge of town. As one guest put it, "It’s a three minute walk from the lake, but it’s tucked away behind trees so it feels like a woodsy getaway." Over the years we have developed our "must do's" while in McCall. Although everyone has their own ideas of what's fun. Maybe you will be able to glean something from our favorites: Food: 1 minute walk to Foglifter coffee shop. Great coffee (it is especially strong) and breakfast. Try out one of their many "Beni'" choices. 3 minute walk to Stax for an unforgettable sandwich. Try the steak mushroom and swiss! Also 3 minutes away are My Fathers Place and Toll Station. Both great lunch and/or casual dinner choices. For dinner we recommend walking 200 feet to The Sushi Bar, or Jump in your car and drive 5 minutes to Pueblo Linda - by far the best Mexican food in town. One of McCall's best "not so secret" places is Ice Cream Alley. Walk 3 minutes to this dive for huge scoops of delicious ice cream. Open Memorial Day - Labor Day. This is a must visit at least once while in town! To do: Walk 3 minutes to Payette Lake beach. Take your cabana towels (we provide them for you!), something cold to drink and get ready to relax! Grab your bike and head over to Ponderosa State Park. You can catch the bike path right out the backyard. Ponderosa is open Spring, Summer and Fall. See wildlife and gorgeous Idaho scenery as you bike through the park and alongside the lake. If your up for a hike, head up to Osprey Point for a breathtaking view of Payette Lake. In the summer, take the bike path South to the McCall airport. Your kids will enjoy seeing the smoke jumper base and watching the big firefighting planes and helicopters come and go. Excursions: Last summer we took our family on a horse back ride into the hills around McCall with local outfitters Yahoo Corals. Our kids had such a great time, and they took good care of us before, during and after our ride. Head south of McCall to Goldfork Hot Springs. Great for families and/or couples. Whatever you do - choose to get outside! This is truly one of the most beautiful places in Idaho. Get out and enjoy it! You'll get here by car. Once here, you can cover most of what McCall has to offer by foot or bike. Walk to the beach, restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores, churches and more. The McCall bike path runs on the edge of the property. Jump on your bike or use one of ours! Head to Ponderosa State Park, take a trip around the lake or just cruise into downtown.
