Winter season: The cottage is located at the bottom of a hill by the river and may be hard to drive uphill if there's bad winter conditions while your stay (summer tires are definitely not recommended lol). FYI.... yes the road is open (snow removal & ice control) all winter. Worst case, you can park on top of the hill to be 100% on the safe side. (45 sec walk to the cottage) Spring season: As you may know, the river during spring is higher and the currents are way stronger. That said, be extra careful if you have younger children that may are not aware of the potential danger.
