Carpathian Log Home is a complex of two wooden chalets settled at the foot of Piatra Craiului National Park. The luxurious cabins are situated on the outskirts of the forest, near the legendary Bran Castle. The first chalet has four bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, high ceiling livingroom with fireplace and glass wall with amazing view, gourmet kitchen, sauna/jacuzzi, bbq & gazebo. The space Carpathian Log Home1 will comfortably accommodate 8 adults in the 4 double bedrooms, with space for 3 extra persons on the sleeping sofas in the living room. All bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms, they're large and well lit, with amazing views to the Bucegi and Piatra Craiului Mountains. You will enjoy the smell of wood in the whole chalet, the solid wood furniture and the fine bedding will ensure a good rest. All bedrooms are fitted with a flat screen tv with cable channels. The ensuite bathroom downstairs has a sauna and a jacuzzi, while the other bathrooms have shower booths. All bathrooms are fitted with towels, hair dryers and complimentary cosmetics. The house is surrounded by a terrace where you can sunbathe all day long, while in the garden you will find a gazebo and a wood/coals barbecue. The gound floor comprises of a large open plan with living room area and seating places for 10 around the fireplace, a large dining table for 10, the open state of the art kitchen and a bedroom with ensuite jacuzzi bathroom. The first floor comprises of two double bedrooms with ensuite baths and balconies, while the second floor has a double bedroom with ensuite bath and a fitness area with magnificent views to the valley bellow. There's parking space for 4 cars inside the yard. Guest access The last 200 meters of the access road to the chalet are a bit steep and unpaved, but you'll make it just fine with 2wd, unless it snows a lot. If that happens and you can't drive all the way up, there are safe parking spots 200 meters from the house and we'll help up with the luggage using our 4wd. There are 4 parkings spots inside the yard. A car is highly recommended, the chalet is high up on the hill, public transportation isn’t accessible from the property, except for taxis. Other things to note If you're going to rent a car, I strongly recommend a 4wd Dacia Duster, very inexpensive and perfect for the Romanian roads. If you're driving a 2wd car, let me know ahead of time and I'll explain how to approach the hill. I'm always available to help you with bringing up the luggage, if you prefer parking 200 meters down the road (safe spot). I have a studio arranged in the underground floor, with separate entrance and a private yard. I might be there during your stay, but this is not a rule. We share nothing.
