Stella's Treehouse is a 800 sq ft "A-Frame" cabin that is nestled in the trees overlooking beautiful Lake Eufaula The cabin has all the comforts of home, yet still offers guests a truly authentic outdoor experience. An open kitchen/living room perfect for couples, small families and groups. A private bedroom with a full size bed, full bath, and w/d all on the ground floor. The loft has a full size bed with a heavenly view of the trees. Short walk to access to small sandy beach and swimming area. The cabin is on Pataula Creek and is very close to "Gopher Island". Birding, swimming, fishing, nature walks, biking, etc. are all right out side your door. Amazing sunsets, dramatic thunderstorms, nesting Bald Eagles are a few of the things you can expect. The road to the cabin is a dirt county maintained road. This should be considered if driving a low to the ground sports car or luxury car. The cabin comes with access to the lake, its own swimming area, and 5 acres of woods to explore along the lake. Plus, several miles of dirt roads for biking. Proceeds help to support our nonprofit, Ms. Kitty's Animal Sanctuary ;-) THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!!!! The Walter F. George Lake, named for Walter F. George (1878–1957), a United States Senator from Georgia, is formed on the Chattahoochee River along the state line between Alabama and Georgia. It is also widely known by the name, Lake Eufaula — particularly in Alabama. The 46,000-acre lake extends north about 85 miles (140 km) from the Walter F. George Lock and Dam (31°37′10″N 85°4′15″W) and has approximately 640 miles of shoreline. Popular activities along the lake include camping and trophy fishing, swimming, boating and nature watching. Check out Eufaula National Wildlife Refuge and George T. Bagby State Park in Fort Gaines. Biking, hiking and walking all right outside your door. The road to the cabin is a dirt county maintained road. This should be considered if driving a low to the ground sports car or luxury car. Guests can also enjoy tent camping on or near the deck of the cabin or near the lakeside. Consider bringing folding lawn chairs, bug spray, sunscreen. Binoculars and other such items.
