The space This is a total family country getaway. There are no other cottages on the lake! Owner provides 2 rowboats, 2 kayaks, and a paddle wheel boat. You can watch your kids swim from the living room or kitchen. A large dock extends from a sandy beach and gives a place for the kids to jump into the water on one side and boats are moored on the other side. Unbelievable fresh water fishing, from a boat or ice fishing. Since there are no other houses on the lake it's almost like you are the first people to fish there. The lake has Large Mouth Bass, Northern Pike, Blue Gills, and Crappies. With supervision, kids or adults can have a great time snorkeling and seeing many fish and turtles. There are no other boats on the lake to worry about. Guest access This is a whole house on a privately owned lake. Guests have access to the entire house and 156 acre property. There is 50 acres of farmland with crops so guests are asked not to walk on the crops but there is a lane all the way around the field which gives a 1.4 mile walk with plenty of opportunity to see deer, turkey, sand hill cranes, and other wildlife. Other things to note There is a separate game room with a pool table, game table, and pinball machine. It includes a flat screen TV. There is a "East Garden" to watch the sunrise while having a cup of coffee. Or watch the deer come out into the lawn. It includes an outdoor gas fire-table to take the chill off.
