Desert Gate Camp

Welcome to our Bedouin camp in the middle of the protected area of Wadi Rum. You will be surrounded by breathtaking mountains and the silence of an endless desert. Relax in our common area to gaze at the stars and enjoy a free breakfast with Bedouin Whiskey - our delicious traditional tea. Growing up in the desert, we are looking forward to welcoming you to our precious home. To make this a unique and unforgettable experience, we offer all kinds of activities and tours to enjoy it. The space You will be staying in one of our permanent Bedouin tents and dive into a cultural experience. There are different options, with two or four separate beds with a shared bathroom, including showers. Rooms with a double bed have their own bathroom. The camp is located around 20 minutes from Wadi Rum Village and right in the protected area, with beautiful surroundings and a view into the endless desert. A pick-up service from Wadi Rum Village to the camp and back is included. We share a common outside area to relax, as well as an inside area for breakfast, traditional food or simply to drink tea to get to know each other and to enjoy the stunning view. We are always happy to share traditions, history and our way of life. Breakfast is included for all guests. If you want to have dinner with us, it is an additional 10 JD. If you book a day tour with us, dinner will be included as well.
