This special place is close to everything and located in downtown Winnemucca, making it easy to plan your visit. The home is within walking distance to shopping, dining, entertainment, and the nightlife that Winnemucca has to offer. The home is in a safe location and visible from local law enforcement headquarters. This home has been recently remodeled and is new to the airBnB scene, but ready to host you for your next visit to our quaint community. This recently remodeled home has been in our family since our ancestors moved to the area. The home was completely gutted and renovated in 2022. Some of the furniture and fixings throughout the common area are vintage/antiques from the local area. We are partnered with our “sister business,” which happens to be an antique store - so if you happen to see something in the home that you cannot live without, let us know! It just may be for sale. We wanted to create a space that was warm and cozy, while also feeling clean and crisp. We have used a mixture of eclectic vintage finds, modern touches, and traditional pieces to shape the home into what you see. You’re welcome to make the entire main floor your “home away from home,” but we politely ask that you stay on the main floor and out of the basement. We live locally and will be a moments drive away if something were to happen where assistance was needed. That being said, you will have a code to enter the property and will only see us if you need anything during your stay. Home is located in the literal heart of town. Visible from the front yard is the bowling alley, downtown, and a few bars. There are coffee shops and dining within close walking distance. Our goal was to offer a cozy, unique, and eclectic home that could be enjoyed for a night in but also offer convenience for the night life and night out activities. There is ample parking behind the home and large enough space to accommodate horse trailers, motorhomes, large trailers, etc. There is room in front of the home for 2 vehicles to park on the street as well. Please let us know ahead of time if “XL” parking is needed so that we can have the space prepared for you and the gates open. Home is within close walking distance to the local Amtrak station, so you will hear the train from time to time. We were eager to begin hosting, and so some amenities are not yet available. A bbq grill and outdoor seating is coming as well! Lawn landscaping is currently being planned. We also plan to become pet friendly in the very near future with the addition of secure fencing. This is a non smoking property. Tenants will be subject to additional cleaning costs if remnants of cigarettes or cigarette smoke is noticed after check out. Celebrating something? Please let me know!
