The space This large farmhouse is ideal for families with children or a nice group of people. The farm is large and sturdy with authentic details such as high beamed ceilings and old farmer's tiles. The living room is the former cow stable, this is a very large space with a dining table and plenty of seating space. View of the meadows behind. There is also a children's play corner. There are 5 bedrooms, there is 1 spacious bathroom with double sink, toilet, bath and shower. Spacious kitchen with an additional dining room. The kitchen has plenty of work space. There is an outdoor terrace near the kitchen. The kitchen contains a 6-burner stove with 2 ovens, Samsung American refrigerator, dishwasher, Philips filter coffee maker, kettle, microwave. View of the fields of the Krimpenerwaard. Cheese town Gouda with its famous market square and Waag is 9 km away. The pleasant old town of Oudewater (known for its Heksenwaag) is nearby, as is Haastrecht (4 km). Beautiful cycling and walking paths in the area. The former farm was built in 1880 on behalf of Paulina Bisdom van Vliet, of which a museum can be visited in Haastrecht. The farmhouse is authentically and soberly furnished, not luxurious or high-quality finished, but cozy and charming. Be surprised by the space. The house has double glazing and central heating. When the weather is nice you can sit outside in the backyard or on the private terrace. Children can use the swings and trampoline. Nature reserves such as the Reeuwijkse Plassen, "Het Doove Gat" and "De Hooge Boezem" are fun to visit. You can taste the atmosphere of yesteryear here. Guest access The farmhouse with sunny backyard is entirely at your disposal. This also includes the terrace on the side of the house with beautiful views and sun until late in the afternoon. Other things to note The tourist tax is €2.25 per person per night. This fee will be charged separately. For your baby/toddler there is a play area with 1 playpen, 1 crib with bedding and 1 high chair. The house has 1 spacious bathroom on the first floor. There is 1 toilet on the ground floor. There is 1 double bedroom on the ground floor, which is accessible via 4 steps. The other 4 bedrooms are located on the first floor. No pets allowed without prior consultation. There are chickens roaming around the property, please keep your dog on a leash. Open fires are not allowed and no smoking in the farm. No fireworks. No loud music. No drugs. The farm is located along the Provincialeweg N228. During the week, during peak hours, you may experience some noise pollution. Would you like to ensure that the beds are removed and garbage bags are deposited in the appropriate container upon departure? Please separate waste. We are very happy with nice guests.
