Countryside Sweet Escape

Escape the city and relax in our beautiful two-story home. It is solar powered, fully furnished with ACs in every bedroom. We also have a fully equipped kitchen, BBQ area, WIFI, washer and dryer. Our private pool is heated year round! Only a 20-minute drive from the San Juan airport, 30-minute drive from Old San Juan and El Yunque Rainforest, and 40 minutes from the ferry to Culebra and Vieques islands as well as many more water attractions. This house is perfect for family vacations. The space Our home includes four bedrooms (one located on the first floor), three bathrooms, kitchen, living room with a smart TV (don't forget to bring your Netflix and Hulu passwords!), and a private pool with a terrace and a bbq area. Guest access You will have private access to both floors of the residence as well as the outdoor pool and terrace areas. There is ample parking space in front and towards the left side of the house - please avoid parking on the upper level closest to the house (balcony). Please note that you will have to drive up a steep hill in order to access the house. Other things to note The living room does not have AC, but we do have two ceiling fans that keep the room cool at night - be sure to close the windows to prevent mosquitos/bugs from entering. We have a charcoal grill - please bring your own charcoal! Smoking inside of the house is strictly forbidden: a $250 fine will be issued if there are signs of smoking inside. Please limit smoking to the outside first level - anywhere that is not covered by a ceiling and kindly pick up any cigarettes left behind! Power outages and low water pressure are both common but when they happen, they shouldn’t persist for too long. We have solar panels and a water tank (low water pressure is indicative of area issues but because we have a tank, you’ll still have a water reserve all though pressure will be low - solar panels are great for all essential items during power outages. Pool maintenance is scheduled for every Thursday as well as after each guest! The work will be done in the pool area (access to the actual house is not necessary). Because the house is in such contact with nature, please be aware that you may encounter snakes, spiders and animals alike around the premises.
